The Oneida Nation:

Prior to explaining the wonderful line of recycled paper and recycled COTTON PRODUCTS of Purely Cotton/Nature’s Way (http://natureswaytissue.com/),
I would like to give a brief narrative of the owners, and their Oneida Tribe.

The Oneida Nation official site:

The Oneida Peoples are formally part of The Iroquois Nations. Oneida translates to “People Of The Standing Stone” and have had a tribal presence in the Continent of North America, over 10,000 years, long before Italian & Spanish travelers’ (like Christopher Columbus and his Patrons) examination of these lands. The Oneida Nation has three clans that are named and represented as the following: Bear, Turtle, and Wolf.

Oneida Nation consists of 13,000 listed individuals, with just under 2,500 tribal people residing on Reservation Land. In Northeast Wisconsin their lands are near Brown and Outagamie Counties.

The Oneida Nation leads as a model for U.S. commerce, with the nation employing 4,000 individuals, which whom only half of their U.S. employees are Oneida.

As like the days of old, where the tribal people of The Oneida Nation lived in “longhouses” with bunk beds; a modern concept for early communities, the tribe strives to be self-sufficient and create only a positive impact on the land and all surrounding peoples. It therefore should be expected to hear that this Oneida Nation has contributed over $284 million dollars in currency, to Brown County area, Wisconsin.

Although not always noted for the conception, much fame in the sports world should be given to The Iroquois Nations, which whom created the sport of Lacrosse. And, when played by these native peoples, the game is much more challenging physically and psychologically, as well having spiritual meaning.

To their credit, women have always played a key role in choosing and deposing Political/Tribal leaders as well as carrying property ownership.
